St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Lt. Keith Dupre of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Detectives Section need your help in locating the concerned citizen that telephoned the St. Martin Parish authorities checking on the welfare of Clayborn Lee Pinder.
On September 7th 2016, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the address of 451 Koch Road, Arnaudville, Louisiana for a welfare concern that turned into a homicide investigation. The investigation began when a concerned citizen called St. Martin Parish authorities stating that he had found some of Pinder’s personal items and tried to return it to his home. The caller stated he dropped the items off at Pinder’s home then returned later to find them still there. The caller then notified authorities of the welfare concern.
No personal contact information was given by the caller. Detectives have a person of interest in the homicide but need to speak the caller concerning the location of where the items were recovered. Call the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-948-6516.

St. Landry Crime Stoppers mission is to help solve and prevent crimes and is achieved by providing everyday citizens with the tools they need to protect their neighborhoods, schools and families.
Burglaries and home invasions have continued to threaten the safety of our homes and of our neighborhoods in Acadiana.
Prevention is key, so consider the following to deter burglaries:
· Do not leave ATV’S, generators, or anything of value in plain sight on your property. A chain can deter a thief but it can be cut and your property stolen.
· Make a habit of using your alarm and locking windows and doors.
· Install a high definition home security camera system.
· Do not leave valuables in clear view when you park your vehicle and remember to always lock your doors.
· Postpone your social media travel updates until you return. Updating in real-time alerts others of an empty house.
· Keep valuable property locked inside your home, and in places burglars would not suspect valuable are hidden.
· Write down your serial numbers and video all your property in case you are burglarized. If you do not have the serial numbers for investigators it will be harder to recover your property.

Warrants are issued for Delores Denise Chevis of 937 Jordan Street, Opelousas and Devin Jermaine Jones of 625 Burton Street, Opelousas for Possession of Cocaine, Legend Drugs, and Crack Cocaine, the two are also wanted for Drug Free Zone and Prescription Pill violations,
Johnathon M. Broussard of 251 Sheila Avenue, Eunice, is wanted for 3rd Offense Possession of Marijuana,
Travis Z. Leday of 924 Vidrine Street, Opelousas, has warrants for traffic related charges, Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute hydrocodone and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,
Rachel Brooke Daigle of 901 Samuel Drive, Eunice is wanted for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Methamphetamine,

ST. LANDRY CRIME STOPPERS AND OFFICER PETER GUIDRY OF THE SUNSET POLICE DEPARTMENT NEED YOUR HELP IN LOCATING THE SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN THE ONGOING BURGLARIES OF A SUNSET BUSINESS.
ON AUGUST 22, 2016, THE OWNER OF AOK SERVICES LOCATED ON CASTILLE STREET IN SUNSET WAS THE VICTIM OF A BURGLARY. ONCE INSIDE THE THIEVES STOLE AN AIR CONDITIONING WINDOW UNIT, A DESK TOP COMPUTER, SEVEN CHAINSAWS, A BLOWER, AND THE COMPANY TRUCK KEYS.
THE THIEVES RETURNED THE NEXT NIGHT ON AUGUST 23, AND STOLE THE COMPANY TRUCK. SURVEILLANCE VIDEO SHOWS THAT AT 12:31AM, A CAR PULLED INTO THE PARKING LOT, DROPPED AN UNKNOWN PERSON OFF AND THEN DROVE AWAY WITH THE TRUCK. THE TRUCK IS DESCRIBED AS A WHITE 2006 FORD E350 BOX TRUCK WITH REPAIRS MADE ON THE TOP OF THE ROOF. THE BOX CONTAINED NUMEROUS TOOLS USED IN TREE CUTTING SERVICES. TWO OF ITEMS ARE DESCRIBED AS A HUSQVARNA SAW WITH A 42 INCH BAR AND A STIHL 880 SAW WITH A 47 INCH BAR.

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Sgt. Robert Wilbanks of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office need your help in locating the thieves that are responsible for multiple burglaries at the Dollar General.
Between the dates of August 1st through August 23rd 2016 the Dollar General located on Highway 182 North in Opelousas has been the victim of alarm activations, criminal damage, attempted burglaries, and burglaries.
On August 17th and 19th 2016, unknown suspects shattered the front door of the store and attempted to use a vehicle and chain to remove the stores safe but were unable to. The suspects returned to the store on August 23, 2016 and once again shattered the front door then stole various goods from inside.

BURGLARY SUSPECTS SOUGHT

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Deputy Drake Pousson of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office need your help in locating two fugitives that are responsible for multiple daytime home burglaries.
On April 27, 2016, detectives investigated several daytime burglaries and spotlighted them on the Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week. During the burglaries, the thieves stole televisions, a Maltese dog valued at 1,500, and an entire set of kitchen appliances. Soon after the airing of the crime of the week, Crime Stoppers began receiving tips. Detectives were able to use that information to recover some of the stolen items including the Maltese dog. Three suspects were identified as the burglars.
Warrants are issued for Carl Travis Collins, age 20, of 742 North Lombard Street, Opelousas, Louisiana and Eric Tyrone Landor, age 29 of 152 White Oak Road, Washington, Louisiana. The third suspect was identified as Donovan Bourgeois and has been already captured.

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Sergeant Mitchell Hoke of the Eunice Police Department need your help in locating the thieves that preyed upon a 97 year old WW2 Veteran.
June 6, 1944 “Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well-trained, well-equipped and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely” American General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Harold Gounary at the young age of 18 answered the call from our Country. He is a true American war hero, not only did he serve his country but was shot down, captured and held as a prisoner of war. Mr. Gournay was later released from a prison camp and returned home having served his country with honor and pride.
On July-23-2015 Mr. Harold Gournay was away on a fishing trip when thieves broke into his home on LSU-E Drive in Eunice. The thieves stole 30 silver coins, 9 firearms, 2 televisions and WW2 knife that was taken off of a German soldier. We have no descriptions of the thieves in this case only a hand drawn likeness of the knife which is very dear to Mr. Gournay.

TIPSTERS IDENTIFIED HER AS KATRINA ANNE PISANI BENOIT
St. Landry Crime Stoppers and case agent Detective Keith Dupre of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office need your help in identifying a suspect involved in the use of counterfeit money.
On the morning of July 26, 2016 at 12:26 am, an unknown white female entered the Beau Chene Truck stop and handed the cashier a $100.00 bill for goods and services. The cashier placed the $100.00 bill in front of the register and gave the female her change. As the female exited the store, the cashier tested the bill and realized it was counterfeit. The female rushed to her vehicle and sped away in light colored, four door car, unknown make and model. The suspect is described as a white female approximately 5’6” to 5’7”, weighing 150 pounds and was wearing light colored shorts and a LSU T-Shirt.

SEX OFFENDERS WANTED GUIDRY AND RAYMO

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Detective Eric Reed of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office need your help in apprehending two wanted sex offenders by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Mcarthur Raymo is a convicted sex offender found guilty of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and has been a registered sex officer in St. Landry Parish since 2012. Raymo has registered for the past four years using the address of 128 East Martin Luther King Drive, Sunset, Louisiana. On July 5, 2016, agents arrived at the home for a compliance check. The home owner reported that Raymo moved out in September 2015 and has not been seen since. Raymo’s state issued sex offender identification card has been expired since June 1, 2016.
Murphy Guidry has been a registered sex offender in St. Landry Parish since March 22nd 2012 for Immoral Sexual Acts with a Juvenile. Guidry notified the sex crimes unit that he was changing his address to the Townhouse Motel in Opelousas, Louisiana then was later evicted. Guidry was told to immediately to report his new address. No contact with Guidry has been made through known family members and his former addresses. A check of his sex offender ID also shows that Guidry’s ID expired on May 15, 2016.

St. Landry Crime Stoppers, Opelousas Police Department and the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office need your help in solving two missing persons in St. Landry Parish.
On July 1, 2016, 42 year old Mark Andrew Means walked away from a group home located on Hwy 35 in the Lawtell area. Means is reportedly bi-polar, manic depressant, and has other mental issues. He is described as a white male, 5’7”, weighing approximately 240 lbs with long black hair and a beard and moustache. Means has brown eyes and possibly wearing black gym shorts and a light colored flowered shirt. Means left with no other belongings including his medications.
The last time anyone has seen Erica Nicole Hunt was on July 4, 2016. Hunt was in Hirsch’s Alley behind Ray’s Boudin in Opelousas, Louisiana and has not been seen since. She is a black female, 5’2”, medium complexion, with short brown hair and brown eyes and weighs approximately 150 pounds. The family has called her cell phone repeatedly and it appears to be turned off.
The families of these missing loved ones pray that someone will come forward with information on the whereabouts of their loved ones.

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Deputy Chris Beal of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating the suspect involved in a daytime home burglary.
On July 1st 2016, deputies responded to a burglary on Highway 367 outside the city limits of Eunice. The owner of the residence reported that she arrived home around 5:00pm and noticed her doorbell security system hanging off the wall and the door frame damaged. After the owner entered the home she noticed that someone stole her laptop, kindle fire, a Winchester 270 deer rifle with a Nikon scope and 20 gold and diamond rings. The alarm activity monitor shows that the door was opened at 11:17am, video footage from the cameras are being obtained. The total loss of property is listed at over $4,800.00 dollars. The owner was able to provide the serial number of the laptop and is searching for the serial number of the deer rifle.

KINGS TRUCK STOP

Deputy Conrad Callegari of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office returns to Crime Stoppers asking for your help in locating the suspect involved in a burglary at a local truck stop casino.
The office manager of Kings Truck Stop located on Hwy 190 near Port Barre, Louisiana reported that she returned to work at 8:00am on March 18, 2016 to find the office had been burglarized. The manager reviewed the security footage to find a black male had entered the office that night at 8:42 pm and made several attempts to open cash boxes but was unable to gain access. The suspect then rummaged through the desks and cabinets of the office and was able to steal over $350.00 dollars in cash. Fingerprints were able to be lifted from the cash boxes and collected as evidence.
Still photographs and the security video of the suspect were sent to local agencies but he remains at large. With your help this burglar can be identified and brought to justice.
